A fresh new vibe on the scene, the music of Chad James (formerly known as Chad Pollett) is that of a messenger of soul. With an ear for music, a natural gift and an ability to play any instrument put in front of him – Chad James is by far one of the most precious gems in the community today. Though new on the scene, Chad roots with music stem back to early childhood. He began training on the organ with Marilee Risling at the Saskatoon Academy of Music at the age of five & continued to receive training from Marilee until the age of fifteen. Shortly after leaving the academy, Chad began to experiment with piano’s and keyboards; he quickly discovered the love for producing music and soon began performing with icons such as the Jordan Cook Band, Wide Mouth Mason and many more. Influenced and inspired by Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Burton Cummings, 2pac, the Doobie Brothers, Musiq Soulchild and Boys II Men, Chad’s music is a creative replica of where he currently is in his life.

He broke into the scene in a spot most would consider a dream… an opening act for Boys II Men. His presence quickly became known as he stepped onto the stage and warmed fans with soothing piano, and a voice replicating that of Luther Vandross, mixed with a modern day neo-soul sound similar to that of Ne-Yo and Justin Timberlake. A One of a kind artist taking audiences back to the roots of music, is where he finds his niche.
